Today is ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic’s birthday.

Some of you may ask “What does that have to do with pregnancy?”  Well not a whole lot.  Except this particular cover if you look hard enough.  But it was a review of a “Weird Al” concert that first got me to post on PG-13.  People(Mostly Jolted) were quick to point and ask where the crazy normal had come from.

That’s the part I’ve told before. Let’s start at the beginning.

I can say I remember things from earlier in my life, that now I know as being an early sign I was different.  One show my mother and I watched together was Rescue 911. I remember being curious about ever episode with pregnancy. One of the first movies I remember watching with it was The Blue Lagoon.

Around 2000 or so I finally got a computer. I had been using the ones at school. I didn’t do a lot then because I was still in High School and my mother got mad if I stayed online too much.  I joined a few yahoo groups for Weird Al fans and eventually ended up in a chat with a few of them that turned into a role playing chat.  This was about when I realized I was into pregnancy. By the end of 2001 my character had 6 kids. I had started to draw her a lot. I was terrible but the group never told me otherwise because they were pretty bad too.

The RP group eventually went their separate ways. I tried joining a few Roleplay yahoo groups. Never got far but it was then that I created the character Joi. She’s now just morphed into my basic me avatar. After the groups I went onto a chat thing called Palace where you could make your own avatars. Many people used “dolls” which I got into editing to be pregnant because it amused me. I also become known in some of the dolling rings as the one who made pregnant dolls and bases. I guess they didn’t think anything of it.

By then I was cruising maternity sites and searching fanfiction.net for anything pregnancy related.  I had yet to find “the community” as I’ve come to know it. I was still a weeaboo at the time so I plugged “pregnant manga” into Google and that led me to ‘Jigoku Sensei Nuube’ on PG-13. At that time Brigadier Swirl had just been posted as well.  I was curious, and perhaps wanting more. I ventured into the forums and the rest is history.

I guess this about covers all the topics people tend to start about when you discovered your weirdness and how you came to the site.
