If you’re like me, you’ve caught yourself looking at a suspicious belly with this questions. Unless you’re a brave (or tactless) soul, or in a relevant career, you probably never found out.

The hand isn’t very relevant by itself It’s just a hand. I could show you how I draw it but it probably wouldn’t help. So I decided to bring out my exercise ball and take picture while no one is looking.

I’ve been asked to do this a few times. I really didn’t think I was that good at drawing clothing but the least I can do is show my thought process. So here goes.
This is going to be a short tutorial because all I have to say on the subject is that it’s really about how you shade it. It’s more like an epilogue to the previous one. You’ll have to forgive me I hate drawing legs from the front.
We had a discussion in the chat once trying to explain how we thought pregnant bellies were shaped. I distinctly remember G saying he imagined all his as hamburgers. The navel being the pickle.

There’s an illness that has been spreading through the maeiusophilia/gravidophila artist for a long time. No I don’t mean a bad case of the suck, that’s a disease.
I mean 3/4 itis. It strikes everyone without mercy. Regardless of skill, how long you’ve been in the community, or how many fans you have. It can and will effect everyone.
